ViewSonic PJD5133 SVGA DLP Projector - HDMI, 2700 Lumens, 3000:1 DCR, 120Hz/3D Ready, Speaker

I've been using this product for about a month now and have no complaints. The picture quality is brilliant at night (especially if watching blue-ray movies or hd channels) and is very good during the day (blinds closed, but by no means pitch black). I project it onto a screen that I made myself (8' x 4' white tileboard hanging from the ceiling, $20 to make)and it looks great. I have it hooked up to a couple of sound-bars and a subwoofer. The sound that emits from the projector itself is not adequate for movie viewing, but it's not supposed to be. Easy to set-up, focus, and use right away. I would honestly pay $500-$600 for this projector, so I am very satisfied as far as 'bang-for-my-buck' goes. I would recommend this product.

i watched a few movies with these and i don't have the most expensive setup. my setup consists os a view sonic dlp 3d ready projector and a view sonic 3d processor and then a 3d sony blurry and surround sound system. and an 80" sheet i use to watch movies. this simple setup and these sainsonic glasses have provided an excellent 3d viewing experience that feels like there's a portal into another world. its a great simple setup and i love the quality of it. i find it interesting but it lowers the contrast and then the glasses actually compensate for it with their darkened tint. its a wonderful setup and i am going to enjoy watching movies in 3d now for a quite some time. it probably cost me about $1000 for the whole setup but its well worth it. picture quality is superb and the resolution is great for most things and also the projector has a really bright lamp that can be used with even really bright overhead lights that are the brightest they sell at lows.

ViewSonic PJD5123 SVGA DLP Projector 120Hz/3D Ready, 2700 Lumens, 3000:1 DCR

The ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector is an effective and economical solution for movie viewing and PowerPoint presentations. Projecting from 25' it creates a bright 8' wide image. I connect it to a laptop with Bose Companion 2 Series II computer speakers creating an exceptional audio video experience. I use a Logitech wireless mouse to control presentations. You may need a case for the projector and possibly a longer video cable than the 6' cable provided. I am completely satisfied with the quality and performance of the projector and would recommend it to anyone in the market.

I bought this projector first because of the price and then because of the reviews it received. I was in the market because I wanted to set up an outdoor theather for movie nights. (mainly football) Since it's outside the picture didn't have to be as great as the plasma in the family room but I wanted a decent picture. I set it up and I was completly blown away. I colors are vibrant, sharp and bright. I'm sure you can spend more money and get a better projector but for the cost, this project will be hard to beat.
